A Cape Ann transfer starts well before Route 128
Gloucester is not one compact pickup zone. Downtown and the working waterfront sit near the harbor; East Gloucester and Rocky Neck extend beyond the inner harbor; Magnolia lies toward Manchester-by-the-Sea; and Annisquam and Lanesville begin on the northern side of Cape Ann. West Gloucester has quicker highway access than many coastal addresses. The reservation therefore begins with a complete street address, property name and usable entrance, not simply “Gloucester.”
Most Logan trips use Route 128 and continue through the North Shore toward Boston, but the local drive to the highway can be substantial. The A. Piatt Andrew Bridge, beach traffic, summer events, storms and downtown congestion can alter the first part of the trip. A practical planning range is often about 55 to 95 minutes, yet Boston Airport Rides sets the pickup by the flight and actual origin rather than promising a fixed citywide duration.
