Brookline’s neighborhoods create different Logan routes
Brookline wraps around parts of Boston and has no single downtown airport route. Coolidge Corner and Washington Square pickups often begin near Beacon Street, while Brookline Village connects toward Route 9, the Riverway and the Longwood area. Chestnut Hill, South Brookline and the Putterham side of town add local travel before the vehicle reaches a Boston airport approach. A typical planning range is roughly 25 to 55 minutes, but school traffic, medical shift changes, Green Line crossings, weather and tunnel conditions can materially change the useful departure time.
Boston Airport Rides asks for the exact address and entrance because Brookline includes apartment buildings, brownstones, medical offices, senior communities and private homes with very different loading conditions. A Beacon Street building may have a lobby on one side and legal passenger loading on another. A Chestnut Hill residence may require driveway instructions. Dispatch works backward from the flight and adds the local access time rather than treating every Brookline reservation as a pickup at Coolidge Corner.
